Hello,
How do I know what number fits best the process in parallellisation?
I know it helps to simulate better, but is it suggested? (in manual it says that it's optional)
Thanks,
Sue

thank youKatrijn wrote:Hi Sou,
The biology module is not operable just yet, we expect it to be launched by the end of this year. However, there will be no oxygen included (yet). We will keep you updated.

Biology Modules?
Hi,
I need to include the dissolved oxygen components in my test case. Version 1 had some modules for Biology. but as far as I know (I'm working on V2.4.1) new version doesn't have bio modules so far. just want to know any update in new version? I assume current version is 2.7.
Thanks,
Sou

how about icing?
Hi,
I know that the model prevents the formation of the ice at the surface by proposing this condition: T > αfS , αf = −0.0575 C/PSU.
I want to know how can I remove this condition? actually the lake that I work on some times forms ice on the surface. I appreciate if you clarify it.
Thank you,
Sou

Re: How does the model calculate the time?
Hi Sou! Have you checked that the time_zone model parameter is set correctly? From the manual: time_zone : Time zone, i.e. the difference of the local time with respect to GMT [hours]. Difference is positive (negative) eastwards (westwards) from Greenwich (0). The parameter time_zone is of type REA...

How does the model calculate the time?
Hi, I'm wondering whether the model consider 0-12 hours as the night and 12-24 as day!I tried to list the solar radiation value for 2 days and noticed that for the first 12 hours this quantity is 0 and from 12-24 it has values. Is that right? If so, it's not realistic! 1 / 1: 0.0 2 / 2: 0.0 3 / 3: 0...

Re: How to add new outputs to a predefined test case
Hi Sou, all the predefined output parameters can be found in the modids.f90 file or maybe more convenient in appendix E of the user documentation http://www.odnature.be/downloads/coherens/documentation/appendixE.pdf . The modids.f90 file is stored under */code/physics/source. The output variables y...

how to determine an output
Hi, I want to add VVEl (y-component of velocity) and VSUR (y-component of surface velocity) to the test case Pycno or Csnsp. How can I define them? I just know the output variables definitions are in usrdef-time-series.f90 file, but I don't understand how some of them appear in Time series outputs a...
