Re: tide modeling
Hi Pooran, First thing I would do is to check if you have extracted the tides at the correct positions (u and v node positions) Did you switch longitude and latitude around when extracting the tides? When you have a look at the values of the tidal constituents of unode(1,1), vnode(1,1), are they pre...

Re: Test Case
Hi Muclishin, Difficult to answer, I think the best test case is river, but then again, that is a 2d test-case. Rhone could also be an interesting one, because this test case simulates the river outflow of the Rhone river. There is also an article belonging with this test case (Ruddick was the autho...

Re: Download COHERENS
Hi,
Even though coherens is not meant for windows you still can download and extract the files. I downloaded *.tar.gz file and after used 9zip from windows to extract the files. So there should be no problems.
Cheers,
Katrijn

Re: How to add new outputs to a predefined test case
Hi smilesmile, A good way is to check the appendix of the manual with all the standardized output: http://odnature.naturalsciences.be/downloads/coherens/documentation/appendixE.pdf, you have to add them to the Usrdef_Time_Series.f90 file. I recommend analyzing a test case example and read the quick ...

Re: make target_name error
Dear Soudeh,
I tried to follow the actions of an external user and so far I was able to run the river test case without any problems. Can you tell me the protocoll you are following?
Best regards,
Katrijn

Re: make target_name error
Dear Soudeh,
Can you check if you are working with the latest code and not a mixture of several codes? Can you test if you start from scratch in a different directory you get the same error? Meanwhile, I am trying to reproduce this error.
Kind regards,
Katrijn

Re: make target_name error
Hi Soudeh,
An mistake has entered the coherensflags.cmp file of the on-line version. Please replace the following line in this file:
PARMOD = COHERENS/code/tracers
by
PARMOD = COHERENS/code/tracers_default
Please let me know how it works,
Katrijn
