Re: COHERENS mailing list
Dear Chris, I'm awfully sorry for the inconvenience, I'll look into the matter and put you off the mailing list asap. Can you please post me the name and e-mail address under which you are subscribed? I checked the form to unsubscribe and did not detect any errors, but we'll look further into the ma...

Re: Problems running opts nos
Hi, I would recommend 2.7, the main improvement the netcdf files are more 'clean', hence it is easier to produce nice plots. The manual is just finished and will be available soon (but in the end, things do not change dramatically, so the manual of 2.6 will still be fine too). Nice you joined the fo...

Re: Problems running opts nos
Hi there, The optos_* test case are part of a triple nest study, where opt_csm provides data for opt_nos and opt_nos provides data for opt_bcz. The data are exchanged through a directory that the user should make himself, for example 'mkdir nestexchange'. In the directory where you run the test case...

Re: How does the model calculate the time?
Hi Sou, changing the time zone does not change the output times and values (you can double check by changing the time zone in the cones test case if you want). I don't know if you use amplitudes and phases at the boundaries? if so, pay attention to the fact that the phase is dependent on the time re...

Re: rotating grid
Hi,
no, the x,y dx and dy stay the same (unless you changed them off course)
One thought about the pictures you are showing, it seems that you have rotated the bathymetry as well, off course you should only rotate the grid.

Re: Test Case
Hi Guntur,
There is not really a test case that demonstrates upwelling. The Rhone testcase has some upwelling at the river mouth though. I don't really know what your exact research question is, so hopefully this is the answer you are looking for.
Cheers,
Katrijn
