Hi everyone!
My name is Janne and I work as a researcher at the Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE). I'm responsible for developing and maintaining our 3-D basin modelling capabilities. At SYKE we're using COHERENS for our modelling needs ranging from small inland freshwater ponds to the brackish Baltic Sea. Our model development areas are aspects specific to the northern latitudes, harmful substance transport and processes, and small-scale atmosphere-lake effects, among other things. In August 2014 my institute hosted a COHERENS workshop in Finland.
I'm very happy to work with COHERENS as the model code is easily expandable to suit specific needs.
