  • RAdCor for land processing
Adjacency correction is necessary for all heterogeneous terrains, not only are water pixels impacted by nearby land pixels, the inverse is also true. Land pixels are also impacted by other land pixels with a different spectral shape. RAdCor processing outputs reflectance for both land and water pixels, and is here demonstrated for an area with… Read more: RAdCor for land processing
  • First matchup results
RAdCor performance is currently under evaluation using in situ measurements collected by Castagna et al. 2022 in the BELSPO/STEREO PONDER and HYPERMAQ projects. This update shows a comparison of the standard ACOLITE/DSF and newly developed ACOLITE/RAdCor processing of OLI and MSI imagery with in situ measurements made in the Spuikom, Oostende, Belgium on 2018-04-19. The… Read more: First matchup results
  • Early Adopters code release
The RAdCor processing code has been fully integrated in ACOLITE, and supporting data and modules are publicly available on the GitHub page. At the moment the main RAdCor processing code is not yet publicly available, but was made available to the Early Adopters (EA) during the second EA meeting on 25th April 2024 together with… Read more: Early Adopters code release
  • Automated query and download of Landsat and Sentinel data
Both USGS and Copernicus provide data search and download through an Application Programming Interface (API). API access for querying and downloading Landsat and Sentinel data has been integrated in the ACOLITE distribution. Options exist to search available scenes for a region of interest and a date range, or to search for a specific scene. Additionally,… Read more: Automated query and download of Landsat and Sentinel data
