Re: Some sort of clouds in water
Hi Quinten, The measured turbidity is around 0.10 g/L, with a maximum of approximately 0.2 g/L. I am using NIR because I have observed a good correlation between this band and in-situ measurements. In contrast, the correlation is not as good for the Red band, which I find somewhat surprising. Thank ...

Re: Some sort of clouds in water
Hi Quinten, It does indeed produce better quality images. On the other hand, when I use the images with the sun glint correction, I get poorer correlations with my in situ measurements (Between NIR and in situ turbidity measurements). There's in fact a correlation between the SWIR and my in situ tur...

Some sort of clouds in water
Hi Quienten and all, I'm using ACOLITE with Sentinel-2 to do some spatio-temporal analysis of turbidity in estauries. I something got some weird kind of clouds in the images. Those "clouds" increase the reflectance in the NIR, thus increase the turbidity retrieve for the image. But the thi...

Earth Data Ancillary Download
Hi Quentin, I did apply atmospheric correction in the past, and I was able to download the ancillary data for uov and pressure. "acolite_py_win\data\MET/2023/096/GMAO_MERRA2" for exemple. But now I have a new computer. I did set my credentials in the config.txt, but it failed to download t...

Re: Water Mask returned with SPM_Nechad2010_865
Thanks for your answers, they really helped me understand how the L2W works. I now have better correlations between my field data and Sentinel-2 satellite data with ACOLITE.
Thanks a lot again for all your works and quick answer.

Re: Water Mask returned with SPM_Nechad2010_865
Thanks again for the reply. I've tried all the possibilities and I can't find any combinations that recreate the mask given by: ~numpy.isnan(nc_water_mask_false.variables["SPM_Nechad2010_864"][:].data) When the l2w_mask is set to False. Because I assume that if it's 7, it's gonna be masked...

Re: Water Mask returned with SPM_Nechad2010_865
Thanks for the quick answer. As I want to personally decide the threshold value for the l2w_mask, I set it to false in the settings. I want to test some value in my python script. So i expected that when I do: ~numpy.isnan(nc_water_mask_false.variables["SPM_Nechad2010_864"][:].data) it wou...

Water Mask returned with SPM_Nechad2010_865
Hi, Thank you for developing all the software to use Acolite. I'm using Acolite with Sentinel-2. Previously I did my analysis with the Level-2A of Sentinel. I was able to identify water quite well with the NDWI. However, with Acolite, the NDWI doesn't give such good results. So I'm trying to find a ...
