ACOLITE version 20140722.0 was released and distributed at the IOCCG Summer School in Villefranche-sur-Mer.

Features include:
- Generation of Top of Atmosphere (TOA) and Rayleigh corrected (RCO) RGB images.
- Atmospheric correction and L2 map and NetCDF generation.
- Processing of a full tile or cropped region.

L2 products include marine reflectance (rhow = pi x Rrs) in the visible and NIR wavebands (443, 483, 561, 655 and 865 nm), and a multiple scattering aerosol reflectance (rhoam) in the NIR band. The default atmospheric correction is Vanhellemont and Ruddick (in prep.), but a switch is included for using Vanhellemont and Ruddick (2014).

Advanced settings include:
- a pressure correction for the Rayleigh correction (for example for high altitude lakes)
- upper limits for the (linear) reflectance scaling in the RGB generation, can be modified if your RGB images come out too dark or bright
- adding geolocation to RGB and L2 maps (only for cropped data)
- switching to the VR2014 atmospheric correction using the red and NIR band
