AQUALOOKS project will use multi-view angles measurements in water (MASCOT instrument for volume scattering function), above water (radiometry with PANTHYR system) and at top of atmosphere (multi-looks satellites) as well as radiative transfer models to better understand water BRDF, air-water interface BRDF and atmospheric BRDF and to propose new algorithms for atmospheric correction, sunglint and skyglint removal. In addition, the possibility to develop additional water products such as particle size distribution from above water radiometry will be investigated from in situ measurements and radiative modelling.
